16 Media: Development Producer

Sixteen Media has an exciting opportunity for a development producer to work across our comedy slate. It’s a part time position, up to 12 month contract and remote working will be considered.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

• A good knowledge of the comedy scene in Wales

• A passion for championing and working with Welsh writing talent

• A love of comedy both on screen and radio / podcast

• Good contacts with agents across the UK

• Previous experience of working in scripted TV/Radio

• An appreciation of trends in viewing

• The ability to demonstrate an understanding of the commissioning process for TV and Radio

• Experience of reading submissions from writers

• The ability to spot and engage with new creatives in the comedy sector.
